This year we are excited to announce that the competition is again sponsored by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eielectronics.ie\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ei Electronics<\/a>. The competition&nbsp;is open to primary school students from 4th to 6th class. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we are looking for projects across the following themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Electricity and Energy Around Us<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Light and Colour<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sound and Waves<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Magnetism and Other Forces That Act at a Distance<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Push, Pull, and Go!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Deadline for submission is <strong>April 24th, 2026<\/strong>.
