At the University of Limerick’s Open Day in October 17-18 2024, the SOPHia project hosted an exciting and informative display, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of science and physics. As part of UL’s commitment to engaging students with hands-on learning, SOPHia brought interactive experiments and demonstrations that highlighted the thrill of physics in a fun and accessible way. Attendees were able to engage directly with facilitators, ask questions, and experience first-hand how science can be both educational and exhilarating. The SOPHia display was a highlight of the Open Day, inspiring future students to discover the incredible world of STEM at UL.
